I am passionate about nutrition and the impact it has upon both our physical and mental health; believing that everything we eat today makes up our cells of tomorrow. Modifying our dietary intake to achieve a nutrient dense, balanced diet is possibly the best defence against protecting the body and providing sufficient nutrients for long-life and well-being. When we feel good, we look good, we have endless energy and are better able to cope with life's ups and downs.
I believe we should be focusing more upon the nutrient density of our food rather than obsessing about fat and kcals. The word “diet”, which should literally mean our energy intake has come to be synonymous with the word “deprivation”, but eating well & eating healthily, which includes the foods we enjoy, has to be a way of life.
My aim is to inform people of the power of nutrition and inspire them to take the greatest care of their health; change can be challenging, but unless we change and do things differently, we can't expect to get different results!
I believe in providing clients with personal nutritional advice, which is practical and achievable and is based upon an individual’s needs and lifestyle.
